Description: In an effort to recreate the step printing effect Wong Kar-Wai uses in his films (for great examples of it, check out Chungking Express, Fallen Angels, and Happy Together), I quickly shot some footage at different frame rates, did some math, and came up with some calculations for you to achieve the same effect. nnThe idea is to shoot fast motion with a slow shutter and slow it down in post. But by how much exactly? Shot #5 looks the closest to the look of his films. nnHere are the values I used:
