Description: A 64 years-old male was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the epiglotis in 2002, which was treated initially with 30 sessions of radiotherapy. He was diagnosed with tumor recurrence 4 years later and he was submitted to a total laryngectomy with permanent tracheostomy and skin graft reconstruction.
