About 30 people, babies and the elderly alike, still live every day without basic amenities.<br/><br/>The families who live off the Torrib Tabaquite Road in South Trinidad, survive by using water from man-made ponds next to their houses.<br/><br/>Their homes are lit by pitch oil lamps and flambeau each night.<br/><br/>They say for decades they’ve asked and failed to get help from the authorities and it'swhy they shared their story with our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh recently……hoping someone in authority finally intervenes.
