Description: Natural Resources Wales has confirmed that two breaches on the Afon Ritec culvert on Tenby’s South Beach have been identified.
Emergency exploratory works were carried out at the location in March, and NRW will be back on May 7 for a period of up to four days to carry out permanent repair works.
“Works will once again be governed by tide times leaving a small window of opportunity each day for repair work to be carried out,” said a spokesperson for NRW.
“Upstanding sheet piles around the breach area will be visible from South Beach during low tides. This will remain in place until the contractor has completed the permanent repair.
“The remainder of South Beach car park will be open to the public until work begins again.”
