The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer was credited as the first stand alone guitarist of the genre. He passed away on Tuesday following a battle with cancer. Electric Light Orchestra keyboardist Richard Tandy dies at 76. With a career spanning over 50 years, Tandy made a remarkable impact on creating the band's iconic synth sound. He joined ELO in 1972 until they split in 1986, but rejoined when founding member Jeff Lynne revived the group in 2014. His passing was revealed by Lynne on social media, writing 'He was a remarkable musician & friend and I'll cherish the lifetime of memories we had together.' UMG and TikTok agree on new licensing deal with music catalog to return to the app. After a 3 month standoff, the two companies have come to terms on a new agreement which will allow music from all UMG represented artists to return to the app. In a statement on the UMG website, CEO Lucian Grainge states 'This new chapter in our relationship with TikTok focuses on the value of music, the primacy of human artistry and the welfare of the creative community. Mrs. Doubtfire original cast members reunite. Lisa Jakub, Matthew Lawrence and Mara Wilson who played the Hillard siblings in the 1993 film reunited in a photo shared on social media. Clemson holds a special place in the hearts of 29-year-old Brindley Faile Perrini's family, where her parents, Randy and Trellise, met during their studies. Between 1982 and 1984, Randy was also the university's famed Tiger mascot, which meant that Brindley, who graduated from Clemson, and her sister later became huge fans of the college, attending numerous mascot reunions with their dad as teenagers. Sadly for the family, though, Randy passed away from a heart attack in 2018 after 34 years of marriage, leaving Brindley with a hole to fill when walking down the aisle on her wedding day. Mom Trellise, 61, devised a plan to make things extra special. Having reached out to the Clemson, a committee discussed the idea Trellise had put forward: that the Clemson Tiger would walk Brindley down the aisle in her father's place. Brindley said that the Tiger had never fulfilled this duty, but after the committee approved the request, the wheels were set in motion. Ahead of her wedding at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brindley felt bummed because a photo charm of her father had not arrived in time to add to her bouquet. This provided the perfect cover for the surprise, as while Brindley was having her bridal portraits taken on March 23, her mom said: 'I know you were upset that the photo charm didn’t come in, so I got you a little something to help you honor Dad.' A surprised Brindley did not know what to expect and started following her mother. Then, around the corner, came the Clemson Tiger, causing Brindley to go weak at the knees and scream in shock. With a smile beamed across her face, the 32-year-old, who lives in Mesa, Arizona, headed over to the mascot for a big hug.")

_one-in-four-adults-prefer-it-firm-in-the-bedroom-when-it-comes-to-mattresses.webp "One in four adults prefer it firm in the bedroom - when it comes to mattresses, at least.<br/><br/>But a study of 2,000 adults revealed 28 per cent thought they'd prefer a firm mattress only to realise they need something softer.<br/><br/>And 23 per cent are currently sleeping on something they’re not totally happy with.<br/><br/>To show how to make the right decision, eveSleep created an updated version of the children's classic 'The Princess and the Pea'.<br/><br/>At a pop-up event, they created two stacks of mattresses - with one hiding a giant size pea underneath.<br/><br/>Consumers were put to the test to see if they were sensitive sleepers and could detect the hidden ‘pea’ while lying on a stack of mattresses.<br/><br/>Lisa Richards from the online mattress maker, which commissioned the research to launch wunderflip, its double-sided adaptive comfort range, said: “Sleep isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity for a healthy life - the right mattress is your partner in achieving that rejuvenating rest. <br/><br/>“It's about finding the perfect balance of support and comfort to ensure you wake up every morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.<br/><br/>“Your mattress plays a crucial role in the quality of your sleep, affecting everything from your mood to your productivity the next day.<br/><br/>“That’s why we’re helping keen snoozers make the right choice when shopping online, giving them a choice of two different comfort ratings.”<br/><br/>The study also revealed of those who don’t like their current mattress, 43 per cent said it causes them more discomfort than it does relief.<br/><br/>And sleeping on an unsuitable mattress is most likely to lead to pain in the lower back (56 per cent) or the neck (36 per cent).<br/><br/>While 27 per cent will feel the strain across the shoulders, and 14 per cent will even report pain in their legs.<br/><br/>More than a quarter (26 per cent) even admit the quality of their mattress will ‘very much’ impact their mood on any given morning.<br/><br/>And 32 per cent admit they have trouble falling asleep regularly, according to the OnePoll.com figures.<br/><br/>The ‘Bed Battle: Team Firm vs Team Soft’ experience will take place at Gallery@Oxo in London’s Southbank from Thursday 2nd May to Sunday 5th May.<br/><br/>Lisa Richards added: \")
