Description: When in opened in late October, S&W Market became downtown Roanoke's first grocery store in about 20 years. The European-style downtown grocery store, located inside the 16 West Marketplace building on Church Avenue, carries fresh, local, organic products and gourmet foods, including a fresh soup and salad bar. Co-owners Mark Linson and Amelia Glaser, who also own Café 16, plan to open The Cork and Crust, a restaurant and bar featuring fresh, organic artisan pizzas, in coming months. Video
