From the back I prefer direkt lapel choke with holding the opponents arm instead of doing a regular bow and arrow, because by doing this I don't loose control and keep my further options if the choke fails. Please note that I never let go of both the lapel grip and the hand grip. If I let go of the lapel grip the guy will roll out of the lapel choke so if I can't get the lape grip I grip the gi somewhere around the s")
