His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allāh does not guide the disbelieving people. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 264 (Urdu Translation): “ اے ایمان والو! اپنی خیرات کو احسان جتا کر اور ایذا پہنچا کر برباد نہ کرو! جس طرح وه شخص جو اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرے اور نہ اللہ تعالیٰ پر ایمان رکھے نہ قیامت پر، اس کی مثال اس صاف پتھر کی طرح ہے جس پر تھوڑی سی مٹی ہو پھر اس پر زوردار مینہ برسے اور وه اسے بالکل صاف اور سخت چھوڑ دے ، ان ریاکاروں کو اپنی کمائی میں سے کوئی چیز ہاتھ نہیں لگتی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کی قوم کو (سیدھی) راه نہیں دکھاتا۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC). To facilitate a comprehensive understanding, we have included accurate and eloquent translations in English and Urdu.<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 264 (Arabic Recitation): “ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُبۡطِلُواْ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلۡمَنِّ وَٱلۡأَذَىٰ كَٱلَّذِي يُنفِقُ مَالَهُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۖ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ صَفۡوَانٍ عَلَيۡهِ تُرَابٞ فَأَصَابَهُۥ وَابِلٞ فَتَرَكَهُۥ صَلۡدٗاۖ لَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 264 (English Translation): “ O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders [of it] or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allāh and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allāh does not guide the disbelieving people. ”<br/><br/>Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 264 (Urdu Translation): “ اے ایمان والو! اپنی خیرات کو احسان جتا کر اور ایذا پہنچا کر برباد نہ کرو! جس طرح وه شخص جو اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھاوے کے لئے خرچ کرے اور نہ اللہ تعالیٰ پر ایمان رکھے نہ قیامت پر، اس کی مثال اس صاف پتھر کی طرح ہے جس پر تھوڑی سی مٹی ہو پھر اس پر زوردار مینہ برسے اور وه اسے بالکل صاف اور سخت چھوڑ دے ، ان ریاکاروں کو اپنی کمائی میں سے کوئی چیز ہاتھ نہیں لگتی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کی قوم کو (سیدھی) راه نہیں دکھاتا۔ ”<br/><br/>The English translation by Saheeh International and the Urdu translation by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi, both published by the renowned King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (KFGQPC).
